Incredible value for money. I thought there had to be a catch but no. I bought the same style suite as my brother inlaw but he paid £560 more than me becuase he didnt know about the sofa king and he bought his from Argos.

I bought a £400 sofa bed for £250. The mattress hadnt even been out of the wrapper but it has a rip at the back and was described as a grade b but the mark was only an inch big and was at the back so i couldnt care less. Really good value for money. Recomended

If you want your delivery a bit quicker my tip is to go into the shop and buy direct as i popped in to look at a roma leather suite, paid for it there and then and it was delivered an hour later. Now thats service!

I bought the Tamara corner suite Grade B for around £375 the original catalogue price was over £600! And all because it had a tiny scuff mark at the back When i say small i mean the size of a finger nail. so i saved a packet. This shop is a fantastic idea. and if you go and pay in the shop rather than on the web site you get to choose your delivery day. they delivered mine the next day. My husband and i purchased a leather suite from Mark (The King) in June and shipped it along with the rest of our goods to Spain. The same suite here would have cost 3 times more, i opted for a grade A but after seeing the suites in the shop we would have bought a grade B if he had one in the style we wanted. To be honest, i thought there must be a con going on at this price, we went to the shop met Mark he showed us the stock he had and its all good, he says he only makes a small profit on each sale but sells 100's each month and i believe him. an amazing idea good luck to him. i bought 6 suites in all for our rental business. i collected because he doesnt deliver as far as Cornwall but i saved around £1200 and although they were 'B grades' there were perfect! i,ll be down again for some beds shortly

What a shop!! The suite we bought is in the littlewoods catalogue for over £2000 and we got it for £750 all becuase it had a scratch on the arm!! The delivery guys were great as well. would highly recomend to anyone as we were recomended.

Theres really nothing wrong with any of these sofas, we bought a grade B and there wasnt a mark on it. He told me he puts most of them on a B grades just because its easier! I have recomended this shop to my parents its that good. And he delivered the next day sp dont bother with Ebay you cant see Ebay sofas but you can see and sit on all this guys stuff.

I was going to buy one from world of leather as they have just opened in Northampton but i found The Sofa king to be much cheaper and i could see the sofa i bought for double the price in the catalogue shops window so i knew i was getting a bargain. world of leather just hassled me and the special offer they has wasnt even 100% leather. so i would recomend the sofa king to anyone. the only problem i found was i had to keep checking the web site until they got what i wanted and it took 2 weeks! but they delivered the same day once i paid or it which is a welcome change.

Its not often you find real bargains but you really have pulled it off MR SOFA KING. We read the web site and took a gamble driving from Blackpool!! hired a van for the day. We could have purchased at least 4 different suites as they were all perfect for us. They were all 'B grades' but we couldnt find a mark on them. Justin the new sales manager said as soon as they are taken out of the wrappers and put on display they are automaticly B grades, incase they get Dusty! A bit of advice though take a van with you if you dont live in Northampton as they dont deliver outside Northampton any more and will only hold on to furniture for 7 days. We have just purchased a leather corner suite for our daughter for £325. Other shops are selling the same suite for double. It was a B grade but we couldnt find anything wrong with it at all. The manager (Justin as I recall) said the web site will be back up and running in a couple of weeks, so lazy people like us can buy on line. But its so easy to collect. We hired a van for the day, got there for 10am (as advised) and within 10 mins we were driving away with the suite. If only all shops worked like yours Mr Sofa King. Please feel free to put my comment on your web site. if you are reading this then you must be looking for a new sofa just like we were last week, my friend buoght one from THE SOFA KING last year and its still good as new, so I thought we would try them prior to checking out Land of Leather's. Put it this way. We saw what we wanted in there Northampton showroom as £300 less than anywhere else. Infact we bought two reclining leather sofas for £299. they were delivered the next day for just £15 by two very helpfull delivery men and although I was told they wouldnt deliver them up stairs, they did (for a £10 tip!!). The owner happened to be in the store when we where there and he said he is trying to open up more shops by the end of the year. If he manages to I predict THE SOFA KING to be the next big retailer. They have got everything just right, Prices!, Delivery! and product quality. Good luck Mark (or Mr Sofa King). I would recomend your shops to anyone. Bought a sofa/storage/bed that would have cost £900 in Argos for £299 and a lovely recliner for £69, then popped to the shop and picked up a fab chest of drawers and dining table for £100 BUT BEST of all they were all delivered to my house within the HOUR!
They are grade b/c but immaculate and great quality. I wish I had found you before I forked out £4,000 on my lounge suite which isn't as good a quality.
First time I've been shopping with my hubby and he trusted me and was so happy with the choice.

Bought a leather corner suite called the Alonza for £349 grade C but we cant find anything wrong with it apart from a 1cm scratch on the side. We saved £400 and they delivered it the next day. We also bought a table and chairs, coffee table, bedside table, wall unit and a wardrobe. We worked out we have saved well over £1000. This shop is the real thing. Unbelievable!!!! My tip is to make sure you have at least an hour available to spend hanging round the store. I didint see what I wanted at 9AM but went for a cup of tea and by 10am the stock was completely different. Dont go to the Gold Street shop anymore. The council have closed the road, so all the furniture they used to sell there has been moved to the main warehouse, is only a few mins away from Gold Street and believe me its much better. we buy all our furniture from this company for our buy to let houses but this weekend we needed a new sofa for our own house. having visited scs and land of 'rubbish!' we ended up wih a reclining leather 2 piece suite for £349 for a large recliner and a 2 seater and then treated ourselved to a new sideboard. It cost us £80 a saving of £120. they even delivered it the same day. They change £15 local delivery which is a great price. Well done SOFA KING i would recomend you and your furniture to everyone. shame you dont deliver to London. you would make a mint! ps there isnt any parking near unless you are collecting, I use the main Argos car park its only a short walk away

Thanks for saving us a small fortune, we needed a bargain having just lost our jobs. We purchased a double mattress for £45 and a glass table with 4 faux leather chairs for £90. I picked up a cloth sofa bed for my daughter for £75. I also wanted to buy a black leather Castell suite for me but i missed it because i couldnt make up mind and another couple grabbed the ticket first! Justin the manager exlained how fast the stock sells. The way it works is:- read the terms and conditions posters, then have a look at the stock then grab the ticket of what you want to buy. You have to sign your reciept to say you have understood the terms and conditions and they wont let you purchase until you've signed. The tems go though things like guarantees, delivery and the grading system they use. The concept is utterly brilliant. The stock changes every hour or so, i went for some lunch and when i went back it was all different sadly no Castell in black but ill be back next week. I got talking to Mark (The owner) who seemed to be doing his rounds and making sure all was well. He indicated to me he is actaully expanding in the coming months. Good luck to you, but i dont think you will need it, you have the concept and prices spot on!

We have just returned from The Sofa Kings Northampton showroom after braving the icy roads! It was well worth the trip as we managed to buy a real leather suite for £299. We expected to spend at least £500 so with the monet we saved bought a new dining table and chairs for £150 and still had change from the £500. Highly recomended by my parents and now us! We visited the store on Saturday for a browse but ended up spending £400 on a kingsize double memory foam bed and a new leather corner suite! People were buying the stock quicker that the staff could unload it from the van. the poor chap! (Andy I think was his name). The prices are unbeatable, we thought there has to be a catch but its all on display so you can see what will end up in your house. We couldnt test the bed but ive looked at the same one in homebase for £500 and we paid half that, so im hopeing its cumfy. One of the staff did let slip they had grown too big for the showroom they are using at the moment and the boss or King has purchased a much larger showroom near to b&Q which they are plan to move too in April. Anyhow I highly recomend The Sofa King and the hand working staff. Thanks for making our day. ps love the slogan!!

Just bought a £600 leather designer sofa for £249. Perfect condition, i was told it was an end of line. so its not sold in Homebase anymore hence the low price! I also picked up a new bed and headboard for less than half price. Amazing shop. The chap told me they are opening a new store soon just near Toys r us and B and Q. next to the cafe with the car on the roof. He says when it opens it will be the largest retail showroom of its kind and will also stock garden furniture as well as the usual beds, sofas, tables etc. I cant wait as i need a new BBQ! All in all a reat business in these hard times.

Just popped into Sofa Kings new showroom on the way to SCS. This store is so cheap. we bought a leather suite for £499. We didnt even bother going to the so called big stores like DFS etc. They could never compete! We also ended up buying a black glass TV unit for £40 which was built already! (saved me a job!). A leather bed for £100, a pocket sprung mattress for £125 and a reclining leather massage chair for the playstation! for £145. I saved well over £1000. Amazing store, amazing prices, good luck. Fab idea, Fab prices, Fab service! I wish all shops were like this. You dont get hassled when you go in, the prices are really really really cheap but the quality is very good. I dont know how they do it, it just shows the other places like DFS must make a fortune when they sell a sofa, The Sofa King have got it spot on. Sell lots but smaller profit. I payed £299 for a large leather reclining sofa and a matching regular reclining sofa. D grade because it had a mark on the seat. Feel free to post this on your feedback.....I just bought a corner suite £299 and memory foam 4 drawer divan £299 and a ipod docking pool table £249 all being delivered on Tuesday (£15 delivery change), ive just 'googled' the stuff i bought and ive saved £950. Its bloody freezing in the showroom but at these prices i doubt they can afford heating. Outstanding store with better service than DFS. Then dont hassle you into buying anything. Justin (the sales chap) was a real help. My helpfull hint as it was very busy is to read there terms and conditions poster on the wall as soon as you walk in. you can't buy anything until you have read it, you have to sign your reciept to say you have read it (takes 3 mins) Its pretty basic stuff but it does explain the grading sytem and guarantees. They go bargain hunting. Grab the price ticket on what ever you want to buy before someone else get it first. I did get to meet the Owner Mark Or King Mark lol, He explained the stock changed twice a day, the trick is to get there about an hour after each lorry is unloaded, this way you get the best choice but there is at lease 100 sofas and suites on display every day. As previous reviews say. This place does what it says on the tin. Dirt cheap prices for sofas and furniture that are being sold in Homebase for double the price! We bought a Sofa bed with matching sofa in leather (The Millano) We paid £399 for both!!! they couldnt deliver to London. So we collected it today (even with the snow). They can deliver to Northampton at a cost of £15 pretty much the next day. The chap explained they need the stuff sold out of the showroom so they can replace it fast. Its all about turnover. Selling very cheap but selling loads! Its freezing in the showroom but to be honest who cares when the prices are this cheap. First class!
