About Beds / Bed Frames & mattresses
Over the years bed sizes and styles have increased rapidly and the choice on the market is much more wide spread. The sizes have increased prompting more people to purchase larger beds like king size or even super king size.
The small double beds are also popular with those whom prefer a larger bed than a single but don’t have the room for a full size double bed. Divans have always been available in small double but are now in competition with wooden and metal bed fames which are now also creating frames in this size due to its popularity.
Fashion changes twice a year on the catwalks and is now constantly developing in the world of bedroom furniture. No longer is a bed a piece of furniture you have to have but more so a piece of furniture you want to have. The choice is endless with wooden to metal, leather, to ottoman beds, electric adjustable beds. Because of the nature of our bisiness the stock changes daily! But we always try and stock a good selection of beds and mattress.
Single Beds
At 3ft wide its the smallest of the 3 most popular bed sizes yet not to be disregarded. In agreement with the saying "Great things come in small packages" these perfectly sized beds are brilliant for a smaller room in the house or for a child/teen.
Double Beds
The Double Bed is the most popular sized bed and is perfect for one or two to share nightly. At 4ft 6" it is an accessible size for most rooms and perfect for a spacious or snuggled nights sleep.
King Size Beds
For those lucky enough to have that extra space a King Size Bed is the 'King' of all bed sizes. Like with the Double bed it is perfect for one to stretch out or for two to sleep comfortably except its a whole 6 inches wider providing that extra bit of rolling space!
